No they don't 😭
Has a lot more to offer than what they are doing. This is an awesome location if someone would take control
Not like there a lot of choices at this exit. Sat down for breakfast a little after 7am and it’s already warm in here. It’s a touch run down and has a serious fly issue!! I mean serious to the point of making you want to leave, but I didn’t. Service was friendly, coffee was good/fresh. Ordered Huevos con chorizo which took a little longer than expected considering I was only one here (maybe not a good sign?) one big tortilla flour and was good. Not a lot of eggs and a touch dry, but meal was good, fair price.
Food okay. Not really worth what they charge. Flies galore. Extremely slow service. My husband did enjoy the handmade tortillas. Plenty of parking for truckers. If you aren't starving keep going.
Service ok ordered chicken and steak fajitas and a coke and chips and salsa got my drink in normal time but chips and salsa. Took 30 mins came out with food food had no flavor chicken was tuff leather is more tender then the steak not happy with food or service fod was not worth 19.00 maybe 5.00 not 19.00
First of all I haven't been here yet, but I will be soon. The fly problem is the establishments. . Something they have that is not clean is attracting them.Simple solution1) hang water bags with pennies around the out side2) eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil and lavender will keep them away.3) vinegar and rotten food attracts them. I hate to see a good place get a bad rap when the solution is so simple.I don't believe in tearing someone down, but to help build them up. So as a new Tonopah resident, I want to be part of the solution, plus I like to go out for breakfast ( lunch and dinner)
I had rice and beans with ice tea that was really good.
Great food and great service
Food was really good!
3 of us for a "quick" lunch. Not so much. Waitress took our order 20 minutes aftwr sitting down. Food came out 30 minutes later. Not what we ordered. We ordered steak sandwiches and recieved fish sandwiches. 20
Best menudo I've had in a while, food was fresh hot and quickly served. Waitress was quick and always made sure that there wasn't anything I needed
As the only actual restaurant at this freeway exit (tho there is a Subway inside one of the gas stations) I guess they don't have to try very hard. The atmosphere is comfortable, in a well worn old truck stop kinda way, and the service is usually friendly. Usually quiet, and rarely ever too busy to get a seat, but once in a while the bar can get loud enough to become a distraction in the dining room. The food is the least predictable thing about this place. You can order the same dish but it never seems to be cooked or served the same way twice. One day it will be excellent, and another time the very same meal will be barely palatable.I'm not sure if it's because multiple cooks on different shifts, or they just can't keep a good one. At least it is more often good than bad.Considering the lack of options, if you're hungry at exit 94 and don't want Subway or convenience store food, you'll eat here. Chances are it'll be at least ok, and if you're lucky, it'll be great.
This place is funky... but... the best fish tacos i have ever had... tilapia.. fresh fried.... chips were fair... salsa was fair... service very good
I had tacos... Both flour and corn tortillas. My advise is get the corn tortillas
Prices are unbeatable, good food. A lot of kids are always running around. In and out front, back, and side doors, even in and out the bar area. For a heavily populated trucking area there's it's not for me. I wanted to play pool but that's when I want to get away from my own kids. Lol . I just do pick up.
I loved the older lady that served me super nice god bless you hope to see you again!
What's there not to like? Alejandra was an amazing hostess
Honestly?! A shame. The food was so oily I could grab their onion rings (and mind you they were served to a 6 yo) and squeeze the oil off of it 😒 if I brought my own deep fryer I'd have enough oil to make my own fries... Smh and their burgers are joke, sorry I ordered a cheeseburger, yeah cheeseburger my butt😂 lol served with not even melted kraft singles cheese product (to actually call something a cheese it has to be over 51% of cheese and kraft singles are way below it. you're welcome). I shall mention that my daughter ordered a steak sandwich. Yeah about that haha it was more like a beef jerky sandwich, she couldn't even bite through it, I do not recommend it to anyone. The staff was rude too 🤦♀️🤷♀️ oh well.
The place is a joke. Very old interior and the food was disgusting. We were very hungry after a long drive from LA and still none of us could eat the food. Even we had a little most of us got sick next morning.
Changed owner since the last time we were there...much better food now
Taco good Nice staff
The food is in large portions and served extremely fresh definitely recommend this place for anybody hanging out in Tonopah
It was an average truck stop restaurant. The prices were good and the food was decent. It was a little warm inside but that could have been because it was an extreamly hot day
Great local restaurant and bar!
Great place to eat. 50's style restaurant and a great place with very good food. A variety of food.
They need to update the picks on this restaurant cuz its nothing like it. And the service is not so good.
The staff is friendly and the portions are big. The sauces are flavorful and very fresh.
Decent food and about the only place in town. They charged extra for chips and salsa after I ordered the enchilada dinner, which is not right. But $2 draft beer and pretty good enchiladas compensated.
Great food an good service.
Lots of flies (swarm you during entire meal). Carne asada is jerky dry. Shrimp cocktail is actually some kind of lime and avocado soup with shrimp on the bottom. Brought me ONE glass of tea, no refill. Good flour tortillas though....smdh
Best burrito to date, no fillers, no faking full of meat and superb tacos. 👍👍👍👍👍
First of all, the pictures on the website look better than the restaurant food we were served. Wait staff was awful. And that's the nicest thing I have to say. Never came back to check on us. One waitress was watching tv while she left us with no refills on our drinks. My hamburger was dry as shoe leather. The kids liked the chicken wings and the omelette someone else ordered was good. I would never recommend this place to anyone...and why is there a bag of water doing hanging from the ceiling? Gross!
Love this place. Breakfast burritos are very delicious and BIG!
Excellent food and friendly staff. If you need a break from I-10 I can't recommend this spot enough.
Ok place but alot of flies inside.
Food doesn't taste good. I ordered the Tostadas came with rice and beans. Rice and beans are good but Tostadas were blah. Even their chips and dips blah. They use store bought salsa. You really can't mess up rice and beans so they don't get points for that.
The food, service, and people are very nice. A refreshing change from Denny's and the TA/Petro restaurants. I hope to have time to stop here again. I had the ground beef enchiladas, with green, and a side of rice and beans, and highly recommend them.
First of all the flies are not the restaurants fault. This is because of Hickman's chicken factory. With that said I love those food and the people are great. They can be slow but try talking to them. They will keep you busy while the food is being made. Honestly I was nervous about trying the food. Glad I did much better then most.
Some of the best Mexican food in the US can be found right here. Authentic Mexican food with gigantic portions. Menudo is top notch but the handmade corn tortillas are the star here. Some of the best I have ever had. Can taste a touch of natural sweetness and some lime in her recipe. Friday fish in a green sauce is fantastic and unique. Beans and rice bursting with flavor. Menu includes Albondigas soup which is amazing. Cantina has Tejano theme with cheap beer. Watch for local eating whole chitepìn chiles with menudo. 😬Owner from Acapulco.
Mexican food is supper, staff supper nice.
A secret gem to some. Right off of the freeway with plenty of truck parking. Family owned and operated. Not known to be the cleanest place in town and be prepared for some of the items not being available. But if you overlook the above and the outdated furnishings and want to enjoy a good meal there are plenty to choose from and they are worth the stop.
